High heeled boots and I have a difficult relationship. Owing to a wriggly toddler hanging off one hip and our daily (slightly frantic) school walk, they don’t seem entirely practical. That said I’m not ready to commit to a life of flats just yet. When the wedge heel trainer arrived on the scene it offered a brilliant option, combining comfort and style.
I’ve recently been on the hunt for an autumnal take on this trend, tempted once again by the teetering stilettos dancing across new season shop windows.
Having found footwear that meets the brief at Clarks, I’m now lusting after their Brinkley Novel boots which have both an 85mm wedge heel and CushionSoft technology for ‘wearable comfort’. Available in Grey Combi Suede and Tobacco, they present a tough choice- whether to go for the snakeskin or leopard print effect.
These boots were made for walking.
