Ogario London Speedy Hair Styling Solutions

Amidst the usual morning chaos, who has the time or energy to wash their hair everyday? Whether reaching for lashings of dry shampoo or trying a sleek updo, I’m a big fan of clever haircare cheats. Norris Ogario, Creative Director and co-founder of Ogario London, has some top hair tips for keeping your style when skipping a wash.

A head scarf or band pulls hair off the face, hiding grease and making you look more ‘dressed’. Working on all lengths, this is a great distraction for less than perfect tresses.

Slick it back

Hide any hair woes by slicking your hair back into a high ponytail using wax, gel or serum to keep the look smooth and super sleek.

Messy bun

Nothing rocks bed head like a messy bun. Pull your hair into a ponytail on the top of your head and twist loosely into a bun, securing in place with a hair-band. The more tousled the better, so don’t over-think it- you can even tease some extra tendrils of hair loose.

Half pony

The roots of hair are a guaranteed grease giveaway, so hide them with a half ponytail. Pull the entire top panel of your hair into a ponytail at the back of the head and opt for a sleek finish by brushing it all into place. Or, you can add volume pushing the ponytail forward to create a slight quiff, then twist the half pony into place at the back.

Plait it

Twisting hair into a plait can hide a multitude of hair sins. Plaits are so versatile; create small plaits on the side of your head or twist your plait into a bun. The possibilities are endless.

And when you do refresh those locks, reach for the luxe Ogario London line. Ogario’s amazing Restore & Shine Hair Masque keeps my previously untamed mane in soft, comb-able condition for days at a time.

Ooh, I love a messy bun. I prefer to do one twisted in sections with a few grips – easy but looks chic too x #brilliantblogposts
