A favourite designer baby-bag brand of mine, Pink Lining* recently got in touch, challenging me to put together an outfit for a stylish mum. Pink Lining are an award winning lifestyle label specialising in gorgeous mother and baby products. Choosing their beautiful Bramley Tote in Cream Bows on Red to review and base my look around, I wanted to blend both autumnal tones and A/W textures.
A firm follower of the blanket trend this season, the best part about autumnal fashion has to be layering up. Capes tap into the 70’s tribal feel and add extra warmth, with free arms for juggling little ones. Paired with coated metallic jeans and a hint of sparkle, the rich colours and textures are complemented by the autumn leaves. I picked the Bramley Tote in Cream Bows on Red to style because its red hue is one of A/W’s biggest colours. A shade I sometimes find tricky to wear, accessories are the ultimate way to add a pop of statement colour. Although he’s still at the nappy stage, T is almost too old to need a changing bag constantly at hand which is why this bag is ideal. A stylish tote that can be used from the beginning of the mum journey, it also works perfectly through the transitional toddler stage when you are looking for a more discreet baby bag. Packed with clever design features, a bottle holder and changing mat are compactly contained with multiple pockets for additional storage space. The oilcloth exterior adds to my love of different fabrics and for obvious reasons, is completely durable. As so much time is spent lugging a load of baby belongings around, a sleek, versatile and on-trend tote is one of my stylish mama must-have wardrobe essentials.
