Christmas is the time for indulgence, both in food and decor. A self-confessed home bird who loves Crimbo cosiness, this week’s festive favourites are a combination of the two. My Mummy Mode HQ party season picks so far are delicious Lindt Christmas chocolate and gorgeous gold LED lights from UK Christmas World– the perfect December decadence duo.
Always an exciting postie delivery, Lindt sent me a load of goodies from their Christmas range last week. It’s fair to say I devoured them almost immediately, but I did manage to save the Mini Santa chocolate place settings for the big day. Also included in the parcel was the Lindt Bear & Friends Sharing Pack which contains Christmas Gold Reindeers, Teddy Chocolates and Chocolate Santas, plus Lindor Christmas Tree Decorations, Lindor Mini Assorted Truffles, Chocolate Mousse and Chocolate Lava Cake with a Soft Centre. Mr T was quick on the uptake too, and removed the tree decorations to stash about his person as swiftly as I was putting them up. Pure chocolatey heaven, and a yummy start to the Santa season.
Still in the festive spirit, I recently came across UK Christmas World, a Santa’s grotto of lights, decorations and Christmas gift ideas. Offering a vast array of indoor and outdoor lights, they literally have it all, from pre-lit reindeers to fairy lights and stunning Christmas tree illluminations. Completely spoilt for choice, I picked the Copper Metal LED Ball Lights with Warm White LEDS when asked to review a set. Priced at a bargainous £24.99, these beautiful lights are even more impressive than I’d imagined. I plumped for putting them inside a fireplace lantern, so the copper ball lights looked like glistening jewels in a treasure trove. Placed alongside Christmas candles, a glass of mulled wine and said chocolate, this has become my new blissful, best-time-of-the-year evening routine.
With thanks to Lindt and UK Christmas World for gifting me the items in this post.
