Our fave unisex kidswear brand Tootsa MacGinty just launched their AW15 range, enticingly titled ‘A Highland Fling’. Obviously keen to check out the latest line, L and T have had a lot of fun trying out (and posing in) their new Tootsa treats.
Gorgeous cut, quality and prints as always, I love the autumnal trends emerging from the Scottish Island inspired selection. T picked the Skye Slim Fit Jeans (£31) and Nevis Jacquard Knit Nessie Jumper in Loch Blue and White (£38), while L went for the Lewis Plaid Smock Dress in Loch Blue (£36) and Lochnagar Chunky Knit Cardigan (£43).
Details such as foxes poking out of pocket corners and beautiful button effects really make Tootsa clothes stand out from the rest. T is extremely proud of the Nessie knit, desperate to show it off to his little friend recently home from a Scottish holiday. Wearing the whole ensemble day and night, he has truly tested the durability of the jeans and jumper combi, which have survived multiple adventures and washes so far. One of the best bits about Tootsa MacGinty is that they are geared towards the importance of kids just being kids.
A little bit desperate to have L’s dress for myself, I absolutely adore her in it. Wrapped up in the cosy cardi to boot, she combines catwalk posing with climbing, as every dress should be built for. The chunky cardigan is made from soft lambswool and just like the rest of the range, could be bought for both girls and boys. A full length zip and buttons mean extra cosiness and versatility, with it also doubling up as a mini coatigan.
With L’s sparkly tights an essential accessory, I may almost be seeing Christmas outfits on the horizon. In the meantime if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to find a matching outfit…
