Green People & Organic Children Summer Skin Tips

Green People are a natural and organic beauty brand, specialising in products for all the family.

We’ve been fans for a while now, with the idea of natural products for the kids’ skin a particularly  big selling point. New to Green People is their Quinoa & Calendula Shower Gel (£9.95 for 100ml), which is a fresh and soothing boost to the day. I also love to double up and use this as bubble bath and with all Green People products, a little bit goes a long way. SLS-free, the ingredients have natural healing properties and keep skin moisturised too.

For the littlies, I’ve been using the Organic Children Bath & Shower in Berry Smoothie (£9.50 for 200ml). The ingredients come from the natural derivatives of coconut and corn, and the raspberry, apple and vanilla scents make for a very bubbly bath. The children’s range is all packed with calming properties, such as chamomile and lavender, which can be used from birth onwards.

I’ve teamed up with Green People to bring you some top summer skincare tips, with a little insight into a few more of their fab products:

  • Try Green People’s Toning Hydrating Mist. Spray on to set your make-up after application (especially useful in the summer months when the heat can cause make-up to ‘slide’). Hydrating Mist can then be used throughout the day to ‘refresh’ your make-up, try keeping it in the fridge overnight for a deliciously cooling spray.
  • Looking for Dewy summer coverage? Try GP’s Tinted DD Moisturiser, with the added benefit of SPF15 protection.
  • Did you know that UV rays increase the skin damage caused by pollution? So if you are a city dweller, choose a sun lotion with added antioxidants to combat free-radicals. Choose from Green People’s antioxidant rich SPF15 & SPF30 sun lotions, or our SPF30 Facial Sun Cream.

We adore Green people products! It really impressed me how much their kids range bubbles up – you are so right – a little goes a really long way!
