We love a good Aldi shop; especially diving into the Specialbuys section, where you can find kids’ presents, toys and with Father’s Day on Sunday, gifts for Dad.
Aldi sent me a couple of Father’s Day gifts to sample and I chose their Phonebox Bird Feeders (RRP £4.99). Mainly because I loved them myself, they are also a fab gift for Dads who like escaping to the garden or just making the most of the outside space. Seriously impressed by the detail on these wooden boxes, there are painted postal times and other cute effects which give them a bespoke feel. Available in red and green, you would seriously never guess they were a bargain buy! This is why I like Aldi, as it’s always a surprise what purse-friendly goodies you’ll find in there.
Also up for gifting grabs in Aldi this week are; Bluetooth Jukebox (£49.99), Action Camcorder (£29.99), Drone Camera (£69.99), Leather Washbag (£12.99), Luxury Bluetooth Headphones (£19.99), Wooden Games (£6.99) including table football, and much more. Tech-conscious Dads are well catered for and if they’re a bit more sporty, you’ll find Men’s Leather Golf Shoes (£19.99) and Premium Golf Balls (£9.99) to boot.
We usually have a quiet family day and this year will be no different. Relaxing at home has to be the best idea and I’m hoping the weather will hold out. Nothing beats a Father’s Day beach trip and some fish and chips. Otherwise, a movie afternoon it is. Plus, that means it’s not only Daddy that can grab a snooze.
Failing all that, grab the man in your life a couple of bottlex of Aldi’s finest Prosecco, which will always be a hit. And better still, you can enjoy a glass or 3 too…
