The school summer holidays are fast approaching, alongside days out and travel further afield.
All about the multi-tasking products, I’ve put together a round-up of the best family buys to pack for holidays. Each item priced around a tenner or under, I use these beauties on the kids and myself all year round, so they will definitely be coming in my suitcase too.
- Green People Sticky Hand Sanitiser (£10) An ideal product which keeps hands clean when there isn’t a tap in sight, this certified organic sanitiser won’t irritate skin. Small enough to put in your bag, it sure beats constantly carrying wipes around and is great for parents to use too. We take this on trips to soft play and on muddy days out.
- True Organic of Sweden All You Need Is Me (£9.99) Brilliant for dehydrated lips, cuts, grazes and insect bites, this handbag-sized tubed is very family friendly. Organic ingredients such as Shea butter and vitamin E soothe the skin, with the cream soaking into skin immediately. Free from parabens and sulfates, All You Need Is Me also helps treat sunburn. A multi-tasking balm, skin feels nourished and it works wonder on scraped knees.
- M & S Kids Sun Smart Moisture Protect Sun Spray (£10.50) A pale blue coloured sun tan lotion that I’ve found doesn’t leave the yellow residue of others, this spray-on cream is easier than most to apply. An SPF50 spray, enriched with soothing ingredients such as aloe, it is just right for sensitive skin. Sand and sun resistant, I would still apply this several times a day to keep kids protected.
- Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream (£2.99) To be honest, I always keep Sudocrem handy as it’s so good at blitzing spots. On top of that, the antiseptic properties work wonders on cuts, grazes and prickly heat. Plus, this purse-friendly hypoallergenic tub lasts absolutely ages.
