Aldi Specialbuys Children’s Teepee Review

*Spoiler: favourite item ever found at Aldi alert*

This week the Aldi Specialbuys team sent us a children’s teepee (RRP £39.99) to review. The teepee in question is available online and in stores from 4th August as part of their Garden Play range. Coming in Grey Chevron, Pink Chevron and Blue Polka Dot patterns, I was very pleased to receive the dusky pastel pink version.

We set up the teepee straightaway and it was a relatively easy task (although I think I need to admit to getting a little grandparent help…). The teepee arrived as one large piece of fabric with loops, poles and string to tie it all up at the top. There’s an integral floor, meaning the kids can be comfy with a couple of cushions shoved in as well. Two ties make up the door, plus a cute little window features at the back of the teepee.

Although I’ve tried to keep the kids as busy as possible over the holidays so far, it’s great to get a helping hand in terms of something different for them to do at home. And, unlike some play tents we’ve had in the past, this one actually looks pretty swish too. Let’s be honest, when you’re surrounded by a ton of toys in a small house, this stuff matters.

Our new teepee will be going in the garden tomorrow for a picnic lunch and some sunny play outside. I remember setting up makeshift tents on the grass as a kid, and it makes me smile to see their childhood memories being made.

At the end of the day, the teepee folds away really easily and can be propped in the corner. This Aldi treat gets a definite thumbs up from us, and I’d seriously recommend picking one up if you have littlies.
