It looks like the time to finally get those legs out may be upon us, so I was more than keen to review a bit of Havren occasion wear. From rain planning to summer weddings, I’m decking out my wardrobe with a little seasonal update. Winter has seemed a little on the Narnia-esque side, so occasion wear season feels all the more welcome this year.
I love the simplicity of this Havren combination, featuring the Hannah dress and Nude Pink Eloise Bolero (£29). Both pieces work well separately too. The Hannah Pleated Dress (£59) is a flattering fit, which I’ve worn so far with these heels, espadrilles and flip flops. It’s so versatile and just flows really nicely.
Last week, my husband and I went for lunch, so I zoomed through to Newcastle and met him while the kids were at school. Wanting to make an effort, I wore the Hannah dress with said espadrilles. It was the ideal low key stylish outfit for an escape.
Speaking of which, I’m heading abroad for two nights soon and this outfit will be coming with me. Plus an array of amazing Clare Hynes Bella earrings, as worn here. Dress, heels and statement earrings- with a pop of lippy- surely the perfect combo?
As a mum of two working from home, I’m guilty of pulling on the first outfit I see at 6am. If I make a little effort the night before, a lovely outfit will be born, and I am constantly on a crusade to not save things for best. So wearing this gorgeous dress, I’m making a pledge to grab those big earrings and slick on bright lipstick, whether going to the school gate or somewhere fancier.
Just because, it honestly makes me feel better. And that is the ‘best’ worth saving things for.
(Heels featured are from Topshop last year)
