Featuring a Smiggle 15th Birthday collection of football-inspired goodies ahead of the World Cup, this Australian brand always present brilliant designs which my kids love. The original Smiggle store opened in Melbourne in 2003 with stationery success growing to 332 stores in 10 countries. Here in the UK, our first Smiggle shop launched in 2014, and so the must-have madness began.
The range includes a glittering array of sequinned stationery such as notebooks and pencil case, plus recognisable signature details.
The highlights for my two were probably their new watches (£18 each)- limited edition numbers that showcase special Smiggle 15th Birthday elements, such as integral charms and diamante detail. L and T skipped off to school wearing their watches with lovely big smiles on their faces.
Other buys cover- slap bands (£4.50) which I always want to steal; a Sneaker Wings Keyring (£6); Football Boot Pencil Case that Mr T actually put on his foot (£12.50) and a really cute Bracelet (£12).
From schoolbags to pencil cases, watches, notebooks and keyrings, Smiggle remains the most popular stationery make for the kids at L and T’s school. Children are drawn to these funky products and I think as parents, we all wish they’d been around when we were growing up. I’m basically reliving my childhood stationery love via my own kids.
Bright and fun, plus always filled with super cool touches, the brand new limited edition range is an extra special collection. Personalised pens and notebooks mean kids can have stationery with their initials on, and I for one, love an H emblazoned item.
A fantastic milestone for this stationery favourite, we’re all wishing Smiggle a very happy 15th birthday.
