I’ve talked about self belief before and to be honest, it is a constant learning curve. Books such as My Friend Fear: Finding Magic in the Unknown  have really inspired me this year, propelling my journey forward. Finding your groove sounds such a basic thing, but it’s also an extremely powerful notion.

As much as it can sometimes make me a little wary, I’ve talked a lot about my health journey. Whether I feel cringe-y about that or not, it’s becoming more and more clear that owning your story is so important. From health to relationships, personal issues and other struggles, our lows shape us as much as the highs.

Through this blog, and my writing work, I have a voice. Albeit a small one in the grand scheme of things, but I can’t rest easy not mentioning the less than fluffy things. Chronic health issues have been a huge part of my life, and in The Greatest Showman-style, this is me. Exposing my own vulnerabilities can help others, and that is a crucial privilege.
